Q. 1 . You will probably agree that this story does not have breathless adventure and exciting action. Then what in your opinion makes it interesting ?
Ans - The story moves around two poor Armenian boys Aram and Mourad. They have passion for horse riding. This passion made Mourad stealing a beautiful white horse. But their family was known for trust and honesty. Hence they returned the horse to its right owner in the last. It is an interesting story.
Q. 2. Did the boys return the horse because they were conscience - stricken or because they were afraid ?
Ans - In the end of the story, the boys, Aram and Mourad returned the horse because they were conscience-stricken. There is no indication that the boys were afraid of anything or anyone. Their family was known for trust and honesty. They did not want to be called like thieves . Therefore they decided to return the horse to its right owner.
Q. 3. One day back there in the good old days when I was nine and the world was full of every imaginable kind of magnificence, and life was still a delightful and mysterious dream….. " The story begins in the mood of nostalgia. Can you narrate some incident from your childhood that might make an interesting story ?
Ans - Nostalgia is a feeling of sadness mixed with joy and affection. This story starts with it, as written in question. When I was a child, I was about ten years old. I went to school two km away from the village. I remember those old happy days. My family was very poor. But the most important thing was that our family was known for trust and honesty.
Q. 4. Who was khosrove ? Why was he considered crazy ?
Ans - Khosrove was an enormous man with a big head of black hair and the largest mustache . He was very furious in temper, irritative and impatient.
